This single track runs parallel to the TVR mainline between Treforest and Upper Boat at a lower level. A northerly

extension between Rhydyfelin and Pontypridd was partially built, leaving a bridge abutment next to the mainline and

a small arch at the bottom of Treforest Court. Track is still extant between the Rhydyfelin Industrial estate and near the

jucntion with the mainline, a distance of about 1/3 mile.

The bridge over the Taff at Treforest Ind Estate is used as a footpath to connect the two portions of the estate.
